The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to begin their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment show why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the team understands precisely where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the group access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the authorities that control the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we learn that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
